About Us
Founded in 1895, the Society is Leitrim people's home away from home in New York. Organized to cultivate and encourage friendship, understanding and social activities among its members. The Society has been bringing Leitrim people together through the centuries to promote unity, goodwill and to foster our culture and traditions. The Society also contributes to many charitable organizations and good causes in the Irish American communities in the tri-state area. |

DUE TO THE WEATHER THIS WEEKEND AND CONDITIONS AT TIBBETS BROOK PARK, THE 50 MILE CHALLENGE FINALE WALK ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2026 IS NOW POSTPONED. WE WILL SHARE A NEW DATE SOON WHEN WEATHER CONDITIONS IMPROVE. STAY TUENED!!! 50 Mile Challenge Finale Walk Please join us for the end of the 50 Mile Challenge Walk, Run & Connect in aid of Leitrim GAA/LGFA on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 9:45 AM at Tibbets Brooke Park, Yonkers. Walk with us and get your new Leitrim hat before the walk. All donations greatly accepted.
